The Commercial Finance Association has rebranded for its 75th anniversary, with the New York City-based group changing its name to the Secured Finance Network, or SFNet.
SFNet is an international trade association connecting companies and professionals who deliver and enable secured financing to businesses. The group was founded in 1944 and currently has more than 1,000 member organizations throughout the world. The association also has changed the name of its foundation from the CFA Education Foundation to the Secured Finance Foundation.
"The new brand preserves those attributes that our members highly value—networking, valuable data, relevant education and advocacy—and reinforces the characteristics of our diverse community, which is forward-looking, welcoming and dynamic," David Grende, president of SFNet's management committee, said in a statement.
The group has also rebranded its website, which can now be found at SFNet.com.
